Does CapExpert replace our CMMS?
No. Your CMMS keeps running work orders where it runs them today. CAMP sits above it as the reconciliation and visibility layer, which is what makes fleet-wide questions answerable at all.
How does our existing data get in?
Standard CMMS exports, purchase records and spreadsheets. Nothing has to be cleaned first — reconciliation is the job. Capture fills whatever the imports cannot verify.
How long does implementation take for a five-hospital system?
It depends on size and how much existing data you can hand over. As a reference point, a 95-location rollout covering 30,000 assets took seven weeks end to end. Smaller systems are proportionally faster.
Where does the recall data come from, and how often does it refresh?
The FDA. Refreshed at a minimum bi-weekly.
Where does our fleet data live, and who can see it?
Your records stay within your own tenant. CapExpert runs a multi-tenant environment with logical isolation between customers — no other organization, vendor or partner can see your data. Access is provisioned through IAM on a least-privilege basis, and everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What is a medical equipment management program?
The policies and processes a hospital uses to keep medical equipment safe and available: a current inventory, scheduled maintenance, recall response and end-of-life planning, usually written up in a Medical Equipment Management Plan. CAMP gives that program one verified fleet record across every facility.
Who is responsible for medical equipment inventory in a hospital?
Usually the clinical engineering or HTM (healthcare technology management) team, working with supply chain, finance and capital planning. CAMP puts all of them on the same verified record.
What software do hospitals use to track equipment?
Most run a CMMS for work orders, plus spreadsheets and ERP records for purchasing. CAMP sits above the CMMS as the reconciliation and visibility layer; it doesn't replace it.
